2.Toss in the sliced beef and let marinate for 10-15 minutes.

1.In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

3. Cook the Beef & Veggies:

1.Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

2.Add marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from pan.

3.In the same pan, stir-fry vegetables for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.

4. Combine Everything:

  • For the Beef & Marinade:
  • 1 lb of flank steak or sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • For the Sauce:
  • ¼ cup 0.12 lbs of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • For the Noodles & Stir-Fry:
  • 8 oz 0.5 lbs of rice noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced (any color)
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs of snap peas or broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Marinate the Beef:
  • In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.
  • Cook the Noodles:
  • Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, chili flakes (if using), ginger, and garlic. Set aside.
  • Stir-Fry the Beef:
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
