Ingredients Notes For Chocolate Chip Cookie Dippers:

  • Sugar: A mix of granulated sugar and brown sugar for the perfect balance of sweetness and chewiness.
  • Egg: Helps bind the ingredients and adds richness.
  • Vanilla Extract: Enhances the flavor.
  • Flour: All-purpose flour works best for these cookies.
  • Baking Soda: Provides the necessary leavening to give the cookies their perfect texture.
  • Salt: Balances the sweetness and enhances flavor.
  • Chocolate Chips: Semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips, depending on your preference.

Recipe Steps:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the Butter and Sugars:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients:
    • Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips:
    • Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Shape the Cookies:
    • Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Shape each portion into a long, rectangular stick, about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. Flatten slightly with your fingers.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still slightly soft. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage Options:

  • Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
