Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6-8 Kinder bars chopped (Kinder Bueno or Kinder Chocolate)

For the Topping:

  • Kinder chocolate melted for drizzling
  • Additional Kinder bars chopped for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking dish to form the base. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.

Make the Cheesecake Filling:

  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream and chopped Kinder bars into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour the filling over the crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Chill the Bars:

  • Refrigerate the cheesecake bars for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to set completely.

Add the Topping:

  • Once set, drizzle melted Kinder chocolate over the top and sprinkle with additional chopped Kinder bars for decoration.
  • Place back in the fridge for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Serve:

  • Slice into bars and serve chilled.
