Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes remove seeds to prevent sogginess
  • 1/2 cup black olives sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled ground beef or shredded chicken optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  • Add the Ingredients: Stir in the shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions, and cooked ground beef or chicken (if using). Mix until well combined.
  • Assemble the Roll-Ups: Spread an even layer of the mixture over each flour tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Roll Tightly: Roll each tortilla tightly into a log. Place seam-side down and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend and make slicing easier.
  • Slice and Serve: Unwrap the tortillas and slice them into 1-inch pieces. Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
