Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, mix together warm milk, instant yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the mixture is frothy.
Add flour, mashed sweet potato, melted butter, and salt into the yeast mixture. Mix to form a dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut into 12 pieces.
Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
You can drizzle the warm rolls with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.
