Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread the marinara sauce over one half of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Layer the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni over the sauce.
Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges with a fork to seal. Brush the top with olive oil.
Sprinkle with dried oregano, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese, if using.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Let the calzone cool slightly before slicing and serving with extra marinara sauce.
