  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small corn tortillas or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup sour cream for garnish
  • 0.25 cup cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, mix honey, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds each side.
  • Assemble tacos by placing chicken onto each tortilla, then topping with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cilantro.
