  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Gradually stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well blended.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, and spread evenly.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow to cool before icing.

Notes

Ensure brownies are completely cool before applying icing to prevent melting.
