  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 0.25 cup apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add apple slices to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt over the apples. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour in apple juice and lemon juice. Increase heat and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the apples are tender and the sauce has thickened.
