Instructions
Preparation Steps
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add apple slices to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt over the apples. Stir to coat evenly.
Pour in apple juice and lemon juice. Increase heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the apples are tender and the sauce has thickened.
