Crispy at the edges, soft and gooey in the middle, these Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies are the ultimate cookie lover’s dream. Studded with melty chocolate chips and crunchy walnuts, every bite brings rich, nutty goodness and classic homemade comfort. Perfect with a cold glass of milk or a warm coffee.
Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream Butter and Sugar:
In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy—about 2–3 minutes.
Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Blend until well combined.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
Fold in Chips and Nuts:
Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts by hand until evenly distributed.
Chill (Optional):
For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes. If you're short on time, you can skip this step.
Scoop and Bake:
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but centers are still soft.
Cool and Enjoy:
Let cookies rest on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
