- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning 1.25 oz packet
- 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can, undrained
- 8 oz tomato sauce 1 can
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.25 cup green onions chopped, for garnish
- 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the skillet. Toss to combine everything evenly.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
Notes
