Cut in the Butter:
Add cold, cubed butter to the dry mix. Use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Cheese & Buttermilk:
Stir in the shredded cheddar, then gently fold in the buttermilk until just combined. Don’t overmix—it's okay if the dough is a little shaggy.
Scoop & Bake:
Drop heaping spoonfuls of dough (or use a large cookie scoop) onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and crisp on top.
Brush with Butter (Optional):
Right out of the oven, brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic and parsley for an extra savory finish.
