Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9x9-inch or medium casserole dish.
Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes).
Stir in garlic, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir until coated.
Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes, until thickened. Stir in frozen veggies if using.
Transfer to the baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Make the Biscuit Topping:
In a medium bowl, mix the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix with milk and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the beef mixture.
Bake:
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
Garlic Butter Finish:
Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over the biscuits as soon as the cobbler comes out of the oven.
Serve:
Let sit for 5 minutes, then dig in and enjoy warm!
