White Chocolate Haystacks Made at Home

Ingredients
 

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or white chocolate bars chopped
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup salted peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate using a double boiler or in short intervals in the microwave, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chow mein noodles, salted peanuts or mixed nuts, and mini marshmallows.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the mixture, gently folding and stirring until all ingredients are well coated.
  • Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming haystack shapes.
  • Allow the white chocolate haystacks to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting.
  • Once set, store the haystacks in an airtight container at room temperature.
