Ingredients
 

  • For the Brownies:
  • 1 box 18.25 oz strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons strawberry jam optional, for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix the Brownie Batter:
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined. The batter will be thick.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter). Do not overbake, as these brownies are best soft and chewy.
  • Cool: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before glazing.
  • Make the Glaze:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and strawberry jam (if using) until smooth. Adjust consistency with more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
  • Glaze the Brownies: Once the brownies are cool, drizzle or spread the glaze evenly over the top.
  • Slice and Serve: Let the glaze set for a few minutes before slicing the brownies into squares or rectangles.
