Cut large squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil, enough to wrap the ingredients completely.
In the center of each foil square, layer the potatoes first, then the carrots, onions, and bell peppers. Season each layer with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
Place a beef patty or your choice of protein on top of the vegetables. Season again with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you like.
If desired, add your choice of toppings, like shredded cheese or a dash of Worcestershire sauce, on top of the protein.
