Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine feta cheese and red pepper flakes.
Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each circle.
Fold the circles over to form semi-circles and seal the edges carefully.
Boil the pierogies in salted water until they float, about 5 minutes.
Serve hot with sour cream or your preferred dipping sauce.
Notes
Feel free to freeze any uncooked pierogies for later use. Simply boil from frozen when ready to eat.
