In a medium bowl, whisk the softened cream cheese with ranch, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, Worcestershire, and 1/2 cup of the buffalo sauce until very smooth. Microwave the mixture for 45–60 seconds and whisk again to loosen.
Fold in the shredded chicken and 1 1/2 cups of the cheddar until evenly coated.
Lightly grease a 3–4 quart slow cooker. Scrape in the mixture, then spoon the remaining 1/4 cup buffalo sauce over the top and swirl it in with a butter knife for streaks of heat throughout.
Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the dip is hot and melty.
Switch the slow cooker to WARM. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar over the surface, cover, and let it melt for about 10 minutes. Practical tip: to prevent condensation from watering down the top, place a clean kitchen towel under the lid during this final melt phase (keep the towel edges away from the heating element).
Garnish with sliced green onions and, if you like, a few blue cheese crumbles. Serve straight from the slow cooker with chips, crackers, and crunchy veggies.
