Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened.
Stir in the sloppy joe sauce and season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with a layer of frozen tater tots.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and cheese is melted.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
