Instructions
Preparation Steps
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Add the shrimp to the pot and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
Stir in the corn and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and return the shrimp to the pot. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
