Ingredients
 

  • For the Banana Bread:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • For the Salted Caramel Topping:
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  • Make the Banana Bread:
  • Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients:
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Mix the Batter:
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Pour into Pan:
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Add the Salted Caramel Topping:
  • Drizzle the Caramel:
  • Once the banana bread has cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
  • Sprinkle with Salt:
  • Sprinkle the flaky sea salt evenly over the caramel for a salted caramel finish.
  • Serve:
  • Slice and Serve:
  • Slice the banana bread and serve as a dessert, snack, or breakfast treat.
