  • For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk to reach desired consistency

Instructions

  • Prepare the Brownies:
  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, mixing until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
