Ingredients
 

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes for garnish optional
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine tahini, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Whisk the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • If the tahini sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired thickness.
  • Add the cooked and drained pasta to the tahini sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes and chopped parsley, if desired.
