Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

Ingredients
 

  • For the Meat Layer:
  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • ½ lb bacon chopped
  • **1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • For the Parmesan Garlic Sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups 1 lb of whole milk
  • ½ cup 0.25 lbs of heavy cream
  • ¾ cup 0.35 lbs of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Lasagna Layers:
  • 9 lasagna noodles cooked and drained
  • 2 cups 1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs mozzarella cheese (optional for extra meltiness)
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Meat Mixture:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Add garlic, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir well.
  • Drain any excess fat and stir the cooked bacon back into the mixture. Set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Slowly whisk in milk and cream. Stir continuously until thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Lasagna:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a small amount of garlic sauce on the bottom.
  • Add a layer of cooked lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of beef and bacon, a drizzle of garlic sauce, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat layers, ending with noodles, remaining garlic sauce, and a generous layer of cheese (cheddar and mozzarella).
  • Bake:
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish & Serve:
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread.
