  • 0.5 pound Andouille sausage sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot, sauté onions and garlic over medium heat until soft.
  • Add sliced Andouille sausage and cook until browned.
  • Pour in chicken broth and tomato sauce, and bring to a boil.
  • Add ziti pasta and stir. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella cheese until melted.

Notes
