  • 4 cups sliced potatoes Peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar for best flavor

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • Layer potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, then top with cooked beef and sprinkle cheese over the top.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Let the casserole cool for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
