Ingredients
 

  • For the Pasta:
  • 12 oz 0.75 lbs of penne or rotini pasta
  • Salt for boiling water
  • For the Meat & Mix-ins:
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • ½ lb of bacon chopped
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of salt or to taste
  • For the Alfredo Cheese Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups 0.75 lbs of whole milk
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs of heavy cream
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs of shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup 0.25 lbs of grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • For Topping & Garnish:
  • ½ cup 0.25 lbs of additional shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped green onions or parsley optional
  • Crumbled bacon reserved from cooking

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Bacon & Beef:
  • In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on paper towels.
  • In the same skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned (6–8 minutes).
  • Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, paprika, and salt. Stir well and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
  • Make the Alfredo Cheese Sauce:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
  • Slowly whisk in milk and cream, stirring constantly until thickened (3–4 minutes).
  • Add garlic powder, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Combine Everything:
  • Add the cooked pasta and meat mixture into a large pot or skillet.
  • Pour the Alfredo cheese sauce over the top and stir to combine.
  • Fold in half of the crispy bacon and extra cheddar cheese.
  • Serve & Garnish:
  • Spoon into bowls and top with remaining bacon, shredded cheddar, and chopped green onions or parsley.
  • Serve hot and enjoy every creamy, cheesy, bacon-loaded bite!
