Ingredients

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For the Snickers Layer:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Snickers bars about 4-5 full-sized bars

Instructions

Prepare the Oven and Pan:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

Make the Brownie Batter:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until just combined.

Assemble the Brownies:

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce over the brownie batter.
  • Sprinkle the chopped Snickers bars evenly over the caramel sauce.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter over the Snickers layer, spreading it out evenly to cover.

Bake:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan.

Serve:

  • Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the brownies out of the pan.
  • Cut into squares and serve.
