Ingredients

  • 4-6 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix or brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 5-6 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth optional for extra moisture
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops:

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

Layer in Crock-Pot:

  • Place the seasoned pork chops in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.

Add Seasonings and Butter:

  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the pork chops.
  • Place the stick of butter on top of the chops, and scatter the pepperoncini peppers around them.
  • If you’re using water or chicken broth, pour it around the edges of the pork chops.

Cook:

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.

Serve:

  • The pork chops can be served with the cooking juices spooned over the top. They pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables to make a complete meal.
