Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • Optional: sliced avocado or bacon

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C). Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet for a few seconds to make them more pliable. Spread about 1 tablespoon of honey mustard sauce on each tortilla.
  • Add the Fillings: Layer each tortilla with the sliced chicken, shredded lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber slices, red onion, and shredded cheese. Add any optional ingredients like sliced avocado or bacon if desired.
  • Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly into a wrap.
  • Serve: Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious Honey Mustard Chicken Wraps!
