Homemade Bacon Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls At Home

Ingredients
 

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough or homemade pizza dough
  • 6-8 slices cooked bacon
  • 6-8 slices ham
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheese such as cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional for garnish)
  • Eggs optional, for serving on the side

Instructions

Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Dough:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Assemble the Rolls:

  • Lay the slices of ham evenly over the dough, covering the surface.
  • Arrange the cooked bacon on top of the ham.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the bacon and ham.

Roll and Cut:

  • Starting with one of the long sides, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  • Slice the roll into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces using a sharp knife or dental floss to make clean cuts.

Bake the Rolls:

  • Place the rolls cut-side up in a greased baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Serve:

  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the baked rolls for garnish.
  • Serve the breakfast rolls warm, optionally with eggs cooked to your liking on the side.
