  • 1.5 pounds boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken strips to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, then bring to a simmer.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream during the simmering process.
