  • Warm a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Melt the butter in the pan.
  • Spread peanut butter over one bread piece. Spread marshmallow creme on the other.
  • Close the sandwich, pressing gently to seal the edges.
  • Toast in the skillet until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Rest 1 minute, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Variation: Layer thin banana slices inside or drizzle a touch of honey before toasting. For a crisper bite, swap butter for 1 tsp neutral oil. Air-fryer method: cook at 370°F for 4–5 minutes, flipping once. Best served immediately; if needed, wrap leftovers in foil and warm briefly in a skillet.
