Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to stir until the sauce thickens. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
In the prepared baking dish, spread a layer of béchamel sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then a portion of shredded chicken and spinach.
Dot with ricotta cheese, and sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with béchamel and mozzarella on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
