  • 4 cups watermelon cubed and seeds removed
  • 0.5 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup tequila silver or blanco
  • 0.5 cup triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 pinch salt for rimming glasses
  • 1 cup ice crushed
  • 4 slices lime for garnish
  • 4 sprigs mint for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Place the cubed watermelon into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the watermelon juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp.
  • In a large pitcher, combine watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  • Run a lime slice around the rims of the glasses and dip them in salt.
  • Fill glasses with crushed ice and pour in the margarita mixture.
  • Garnish with a lime slice and a sprig of mint before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding a jalapeño slice to the margarita mixture.
