  • 8 oz chow mein noodles cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup sliced bell pepper any color
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or more to taste
  • 0.5 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli, bell peppers, and shredded carrots. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add the cooked chow mein noodles and soy sauce. Toss well to coat evenly.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring often. Serve hot.

Notes

For added protein, you can include tofu or chicken. Adjust soy sauce to your taste preference.
