  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur optional
  • 24 pieces ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
  • In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
  • Mix the brewed coffee with the coffee liqueur. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and arrange in the bottom of a dish.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat the layers and finish with a dusting of cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare a day in advance and allow the flavors to meld together.
