  • 16 oz refried beans canned
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups sour cream
  • 1 oz taco seasoning mix 1 packet
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 oz green chilies diced
  • 0.5 cup black olives sliced, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until well blended.
  • Stir in the shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, saving some for topping.
  • Add diced green chilies and mix until evenly distributed.
  • Spread the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with the reserved cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with sliced black olives before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

This dip can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Adjust spice levels to your preference by adding more chilies or a dash of hot sauce.
