Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then sprinkle both sides with the spice mixture.
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and cover them with the salsa.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
