Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the cooked and crumbled sausage evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over the sausage in the baking dish.
Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the egg mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tater tots are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
