Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Place the flank steak in a large dish and pour the marinade over the meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
Serve the sliced steak on the warm tortillas and top with chopped cilantro and diced onion.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding avocado slices or a squeeze of extra lime juice before serving.
