  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • Stir in taco seasoning, water, salsa, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce evenly.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese or chopped cilantro, if desired.
