Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
Stir in taco seasoning and water, allowing it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer crushed tortilla chips at the bottom.
Spread the seasoned beef over the chips, and top with cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbling, about 20 minutes.
