Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning, water, and canned tomatoes with chilies. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer the beef mixture to an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Separate biscuits and cut each into quarters. Place the biscuit pieces on top of the cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Serve topped with sour cream and green onions, if desired.
Notes
Try adding a can of black beans for extra protein and fiber.
