  • 0.5 cup almond flour
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips optional, for topping

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, if using.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
