  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs for the crust
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar for the crust
  • 3 oz strawberry jello mix unprepared
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 8 oz cool whip thawed

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
  • In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello mix in boiling water by stirring for about 2 minutes.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the jello mixture and stir well.
  • Gently fold in the cool whip until well combined and pour the mixture over the prepared crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

This is a great make-ahead dessert that can be prepared the night before!
