  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream cold
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
  • 2 lb strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 packs graham crackers about 24 full-sized crackers

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, beat the cold heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread a thin layer of the whipped cream mixture at the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Place a layer of graham crackers over the whipped cream, breaking them as necessary to fit.
  • Spread about 1/3 of the remaining whipped cream over the crackers.
  • Top with a layer of sliced strawberries.
  • Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a generous layer of strawberries on top.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  • Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Make sure to use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
