Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, beef broth, and tomato paste. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
Notes
This chili tastes even better the next day! Feel free to garnish with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
