Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and fully cooked through, about 8-10 minutes per side.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add rice to the skillet and stir to coat in the oil and leftover chicken juices.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Slice the cooked chicken breast and serve over the rice, garnished with parsley.
