Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot fitted with a steamer basket, bring about an inch of water to a boil.
  • Place the carrot sticks in the steamer basket and cover. Steam for about 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
  • Once steamed, transfer the carrots to a serving dish. Toss with butter if desired, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
